Twice In One Night
Posted on August 23, 2010 with 0 comments...slowly.....the 'No Map' live set is coming together...
had two runs through the set LIVE tonight......first run felt dry and unrehearsed.....breathing was wrong....and body control was out of whack.....
...second run....much better body control....much tighter breathing response....they seemingly go hand and hand.....stage plotting felt a little tighter.....'Watch Her' could use some work....as could 'Even If' on the hook....'Ain't No' intro.....actually...all intro and exits could use better stage plotting.....that'll be my primary focus going forward
....music sounds tough.....has power....show has potential to really do something regardless of demo.....
body control is NUMBER 1 for me right now. Composure and Confidence......i have to bring those in day in and day out....night in and night out......THAT is going to take the show to levels it's never been....controlling the gaps...watching my stage plot.....breathe better......
the confidence is always there.....but the composure sometimes loses itself in the anticipation and anxiety of a loose mind.......
